How do you do you begin to trust yourself?
What does that even mean? Seriously at what point do you trust yourself and really feel good about it. From my experience this has been a challenge as I often second guess myself and wonder, at times, whether I’m making the right decision. Is there a right or a wrong decision?
I believe when it comes to moral topics, the answer is easy for me as I trust in my moral compass. If it is an easy decision that i need to trust, it can be the hardest decision to make. Trusting yourself is believing that what you do, say, or believe, is the truth. If we are wrong then isn’t learning from one’s mistake part of growing.
For instance, I practice mindfulness as I meditate everyday and focus on the here and now. With that being said the past plays a role as I’ve learned from my mistakes and try not to make them again. This allows me to build that sense of self trust. Ask yourself this question of whether you trust yourself and if not completely, then what can be done?
